Support Price Transparency in Healthcare

We encourage you to reach out to the Next Administration and Congress and ask them to support healthcare price transparency!  

Now more than ever, during this pandemic, price transparency will:

• Put all Americans - patients, employers, and taxpayers - in charge of their healthcare decisions and spending

• Make Congress accountable for our taxpayer dollars

• Reduce the cost of healthcare and coverage

• Give all Americans financial certainty in their healthcare spend so they will feel secure to go to hospitals again

• Allow patients to shop for the best quality of care at the lowest possible price

Our lawmakers must honor the rules put in place for hospitals and insurers to disclose their prices (The Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) & Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Price Transparency Requirements for Hospitals to Make Standard Charges Public Final Rule and the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule.
