New Poll Shows Bipartisan Supermajority of Nearly 90% of Americans Support Healthcare Price Transparency

A new poll by SocialSphere, run by Harvard University pollster John Della Volpe, finds that a bipartisan supermajority of nearly 90% of Americans support healthcare price transparency. Specifically, 88% of Americans support hospital price transparency, and 89% support systemwide price transparency among all healthcare institutions, including hospitals, insurers, and doctors. The poll finds 88% of respondents say hospitals should post actual prices, not just broad estimates. This new polling reveals that the overwhelming majority of Americans from all backgrounds support this healthcare policy solution.
